Gulf Investment Fund plc gives exposure to emerging investment opportunities and positive fundamental factors in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region that have not yet been priced in by the market. The fund invests in quoted equities in the region as well as companies soon to be listed.
The Gulf Cooperation Council region comprises: Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

Gulf stock markets have been hit hard by the extreme plunge in oil prices provoked by the impact of Covid 19 on global oil demand coupled with supply increases from Saudi and Russia. We are now seeing crude prices seesawing by the day, and this is largely dictating investor sentiment toward the GCC region.
